20 jaar van SWANESANG!

2006 was a crazy year for Fokofpolisiekar. It all went pear-shaped on 11 February that year … in no other place than Witbank!
Snake jumped out of a moving tour van, broke his elbow and was out of action for six months.
In a drunken moment, Wynand wrote a blasphemous comment on a fan’s wallet. This led to a chain reaction and utterly left the band cancelled - way before “cancel culture” or social media was a thing. The band was feeling the pressure!

In the midst of all this chaos, a masterpiece was created: Swanesang.

It’s time to celebrate 20 years of this award-winning album, which produced a classic like “Ek Skyn (Heilig)''.

Expect a 20-song set list with at least 10 tracks from Swanesang (almost an album play-through!). It’s going to be a trip down memory lane, reliving the band’s turbulent mid-20s, angsty existence; along with all the other classic Fokof favourites from over the past 23 years.
